Dr Miranda Maw is a GP Specialist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Miranda attained her medical degree from the University of Notre Dame, Sydney, in 2013.
She spent her first few years as a junior doctor working in Liverpool and Fairfield Hospitals, after which she entered GP training.
Her GP training has allowed her to spend time working in various regions of Greater Sydney, meeting patients of different socioeconomic backgrounds and needs, and broadening her knowledge of common presentations in General Practice.
Miranda’s special interests include Women’s Health, Paediatrics, and Travel Medicine.
She is currently studying a Masters in Public Health & Tropical Medicine, and hopes to one day spend some time providing medical care to those in developing countries.
Miranda is a firm believer in work-life balance, and in her spare time likes to explore and travel, try her hand at cooking new recipes and participate in HIIT training sessions.
